I'm a professional English-Russian interpreter with over 25 years of experience. I live in New York. I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Economics and my Master’s in Linguistics from Moscow State Linguistic University, also known as the Maurice Thorez Institute of Foreign Languages, graduating with honors. I’ve been living in the U.S. since 2000 and am a U.S. Department of State Conference-Level Certified Interpreter.
Over the years, I’ve worked as a simultaneous and consecutive interpreter on a wide range of assignments across North America, Europe, Central and South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia. I continue to collaborate with international organizations, government bodies, corporations, private clients, law firms, and courts—both directly and through interpreting and translation agencies. I’ve interpreted for heads of state, senior government officials, influential politicians, prominent business leaders, judges, attorneys, physicians, scientists, and scholars. Since the outset of the pandemic, I’ve worked extensively in remote settings, providing both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation via Interprefy, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Skype.
Simultaneous interpretation
I provide simultaneous interpretation services in the English-Russian language pair (both English into Russian and Russian into English) at conferences, seminars, and meetings. Even for highly technical events, you can count on me to deliver interpretation of the highest quality. Consecutive interpretation
I provide consecutive interpretation services for meetings and negotiations, as well as during trainings, interviews, trade shows, and virtually any other setting. The experience and knowledge I’ve gained from numerous technical and business meetings prove especially valuable in less formal, conversational interpreting situations, which often make up a significant part of my work.
Legal interpretation
Legal interpretation is another area in which I have extensive experience and can offer expert support for your communication needs. I have facilitated numerous exchanges between lawyers and judges from the U.S., Russia, Ukraine, and Central Asia. I am a certified U.S. Federal Court interpreter, as well as a certified court interpreter for the states of New York and New Jersey.
I provide interpretation services for depositions, evaluations before trial (EBTs), and other legal proceedings. My services are also frequently used during asylum interviews at United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offices.
GMP inspections
I regularly provide interpretation at GMP inspections at pharmaceutical facilities across the United States. I have in-depth knowledge of industry-specific terminology and a strong understanding of GMP audit procedures. I also advise clients preparing for inspector visits.
I’ve interpreted at numerous sites located around the world including Merck, Pfizer, AbbVie, Sanofi, Jubilant, Janssen, Catalent, Baxter, Vertex, and PMRS. Since most pharmaceutical facilities in the U.S. are located in regions where it can be difficult to find a qualified professional Russian interpreter, I travel as needed. Although travel and accommodation expenses apply, bringing in an experienced interpreter helps avoid miscommunications that could frustrate inspectors or even compromise the outcome of an inspection.
My team and I are frequently referred from one site to another after being seen in action. Facilitating seamless communication in these high-stakes environments is not only my job — it’s my commitment.
